Why can I no longer send emails?

Customers with a Swisscom internet connection may suddenly find that emails are no longer being sent correctly.

The reason is that Swisscom has increasingly resorted to blocking the port for outgoing emails (port 25) to protect its customers against spam.

The solution is to change the port for the outgoing mail server to 587.
